A native of Connecticut, Jon-Paul R. has been involved with music for most of his life. Starting at the age of 10 when he began playing guitar, his musical journey has led to playing drums, harmonica and piano, singing and composing. His passion for music led him to Berkee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts where he completed his degree. At Berkee, Jon-Paul sharpened his talents as both a musician and songwriter. He has studied abroad in Greece and has interned in London.
Taking inspiration from many different musicians such as Ray Charles, David Bromberg, Amos Lee, B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Paul Simon and others, Jon-Paul continues to create music that is all his own. He has been evolving as a guitarist and a songwriter over the years and loves any chance to share his music with others. Audiences enjoy both his unique ability to capture emotions and moments that everyone can relate to as well as his versatile style.
